So much has been discussed in relation to these laws from the mystical and strictly Christian angle that the terms used are essentially meaningless; the whole subject requires revitalizing; it needs to be endowed with a fresh and new presentation and a new terminology, more suited to the growing mental grasp of the scientific and modern mind. Humanity very much needs to re-discover the synthesis of Science or as Master D.K. calls it “The Law of Spiritual Approach”. The word “spiritual”, because of how it has been used during the past few thousand years, is one of the most “essentially meaningless” words we have. The term actually refers to the non-dense physical realms of Ideas and Principles. These realms which, because they were non-dense and therefore not visible to most humans, were called spiritual…things that cannot be seen.

Spiritual also refers to purity, not in a religious sense, but in a physics sense. Principles and Ideas cannot be seen because they contain no dense matter. Truth is pure energy. It is all Truth and nothing but Truth. The same can be said of Beauty, Justice, Compassion, and Love.

Such Principles are aspects of Infinity. And in this sense, our understanding of a Principle will always be expanding. The expanding understanding will always be a synthesis of what we held and what we have gained. In this sense our understanding of a Principle is relative, but the Principles are not. “The science that synthesizes and the science that analyzes are worlds apart.” Supermundane #9

Spirit is invisible. That means that it is not dense physical, and currently its etheric presence is still beyond the function of most people’s dense physical eyes. However it is in-visible i.e. it can be seen or registered as present with the inner eye of the heart. By the way, it can also be heard, felt, tasted, and smelled.

In the dense material world we can have 24 karat gold which is pure gold, or we can have 14 or maybe even 12 karat gold and still call it gold. In the dense physical realm, half, or three quarters truths, are the currency of sophistry. Such “truths” are actually Lies dressed up a bit to appear to the fool to be true.

The other aspect of “spiritual approach” which needs some clarification and amplification is the direction indicated by the term approach. For thousands of years the overwhelming emphasis on direction has been having us climbing up out of the delusion and ignorance of our identification with the dense world of forms and into the Sunlight of the “spiritual” world of Truth and Reality. This is the point of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave.

This is fine. It is what we think of as the Path of return. There are all sorts of metaphorical examples of this in the Ageless Wisdom, and also in the not so ancient Biblical and other “spiritual” texts and literature.

The more subtle aspect here that is clearly indicated in the Ageless Wisdom and much of the pre-BC literature we have is that the Path does, as paths must do, go in two directions. It is interesting that in his Allegory of the Cave, Plato provides “instructors” to climb down into the cave to help release and aid the individuals, who are chained by their delusions to the wall of the cave, in their ascent up into the Light. Service, or the use of our energy to support and help in any way we can to manifest the unfolding Plan of the Intendor is an unavoidable aspect of our own climb. Without a DOWN, there is no UP.

So, in Spiritual Approach, the direction of the Higher Consciousnesses of Light is to move “down” into form and the direction for those locked in form identification is to move up in to the Light. This is the ceaseless, endless motion of energy in Infinity. “The cosmic Breath of the Mother of the World is all-pervading. Verily, all is imbued with it. From infinitesimal grains of dust to immeasurable magnitudes, life moves and breathes by this Breath.” Infinity #10

Another problematic issue with “spiritual” is that it gradually became identified as various kinds of behavior. A “spiritual” person was/is thought to be someone who was 24 Karat or at least 14 Karat pure i.e. relatively sinless. Whereas, those who are not spiritual were somehow impure and relatively not that sinless. Of course any close look at many, many of usually self-proclaimed spiritual people of the world will reveal all kinds of sophistry and masquerading or five karat “sinning” going on behind the screen of spirituality.

For basically the same reasons that make spiritual approach so confused, the term “science” has also become practically meaningless as well. Eons ago, the Law of Spiritual Approach was warped into two different and apparently opposed systems. One is called science and the other is called religion. Both of these mutations have led to hugely corrupted and distorted views of Reality. However, before we can see the Synthesis which Science is, we need to briefly look at what now passes for each, and how that probably occurred.

First, Religion

The Oxford English Dictionary defines religion as “the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.” Both the physical dense and the non-dense cosmos have been totally distorted by an overwhelming panoply of descriptions, origins, powers, purposes, and claims of personal encounters with all sorts of these Super Human Gods and Goddesses. From every sector of the planet, we have thousands, if not millions, of separate interpretations about who and or what this or these, God or Gods is or are. Each of these separate interpretations claims to be the absolute truth and names all the others as heathen blasphemes, the claimers of which need to be exterminated at the first opportunity.

We have tons of “gods”, and “heavens”, and “hells” populated with countless millions of various kinds of angels and denizens. And we have Dogma: Thousands of mighty rolls of ancient scriptures and books, huge tombs of Bibles and other writings that were not cherry picked for the New Testament, and many other holy books.

All of these texts and writings include the exact words of various “gods” in all available known and unknown languages. They come in stuff scratched on the walls of caves or etched into clay tablets and collections of eye witness reports of observations of and conversations with various gods, and reports from prophets and holy individuals who communicated with or were associated with various supernatural beings.

And then, we have Dogmatics, the endless writings by tens of thousands of priests, ministers, deacons, popes and assorted philosophers and theologians such as Jonathan Edwards who in his remarkable sermon, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” tell us what all of this dogma stuff means and what is to become of us if we don’t get saved or something. BTW, if you’re familiar with Dante’s Inferno, the “getting saved” bit sounds like a pretty good idea.

These texts outline thousands of frequently contradicting rules and laws, many of which from a scientific point of view are simply ridiculous, concerning creation, life, death, good, evil, who is pure, and who is a sinner not only on individual grounds but on the very existence of humanity. For centuries, the King of England, for one example, was claimed and believed to be chosen to rule by God. For another example: It was considered a truth beyond thought in most cultures that males were superior and dominant beings over females.

Now, Science

In the case of science, we have the Oxford English Dictionary definition. “The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.” Or, Wikipedia puts it this way, “Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.”

These definitions, both products of intelligence, separate science from religion by eliminating the entire existence of the non-dense or spiritual multidimensional Cosmos of Energy. In order to exist a “thing” must be observable or measurable dense physical material. This definition also separates Science from thinking, a process available to humans that expands consciousness from its identification with the dense physical worlds into the Infinite reaches of Truth or Cosmos.

From this “scientific” point of view, religion is usually seen as big delusion. Given what religion has done and continues to do to reality, this effort is understandable. However, as science was busy morphing into religion, it was also withdrawing into the mystical realms of alchemy. What was left finally created a distinct cleavage that manifested in “hard” science and “soft” science.

Hard science “is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.” A plethora of other disciplines or areas of interest such as psychology and economics and politics were downgraded into “social”, or “soft” science”. Soft Science more or less means that lacking any “hard testable data and examples” the thing or behavior or collection of data and other stuff means whatever the “scientist” wants it to mean.

Soft Scientists “prove” they are correct by intelligently selecting and amassing all kinds of generated data, densified and categorized thoughtforms or “statistics” which support their conclusions. They do not usually include data and that casts doubt or contradicts their conclusions. Frequently, the search for and collection of the stuff that will support the conclusion only begins after the conclusion is stated.

Science of Sophistry

This field of “science” turned out to be a natural landing pad for Sophistry. We have veritable floods of examples of this kind of sophistic science especially in human behavior, politics, and economics. Among the most notable are the “scientific reasons” for the behavior of men toward women, and the “trickle down” economics of the sociologist novelist Ayn Rand which manifested in what came to be known as Reaganomics.

As what constituted Reality moved further and further away from the actual multidimensional cosmos, the materialistic one dimensional “hard science” has resulted in an equally ridiculous series of absurd assumptions about the physical existence of the dense physical universe in general and human existence on this planet in particular, namely, as T.S. Eliot in his play Fragment of an Agon so directly puts it, “Copulation, birth and death. Those are all the facts when you get down to brass tax.”

So, the question is, how did this ignorant situation, upon which what we call modern culture is constructed, come to pass? However, we should point out that for individuals, like Eliot’s Sweeney Agonistes, who are mired in the one dimensional view of reality, there is no answer to this question. For them, the very notion of a more than one dimensional anything is absurd. Still, if one is willing to at least posit that an infinite multidimensional, rational cosmos is possible, the following might make some sense.

How Did It Get This Way?

It seems pretty obvious to those who are not so mired, that at some point in the evolution of this planet, from the initial Intention of some “THINKER” to its inevitable manifestation into what we now call planet Earth, there eventually evolved, after much experimentation, some “two-legged” beings that could harbor the implanting of the “spark of Mind” (thanks to the Lords of Flame, Letters on Occult Meditation P.185) without it causing serious overload problems with their equipment…things like explosive, death inducing malfunctions to the nervous system and or heart.

As what we call the Fourth Kingdom evolved, (the mineral, plant and animal being 1, 2, and 3) some of the members of those who were working on the experiment took on human bodies and acted as guides to the infant humans. At this stage, the infant humans possessed little if anything that could pass for language, let alone intelligence. So the Guides used the arts, the language of metaphor, to explain all of the strange phenomena that were being encountered such as death, birth, lightening, rain, snow, earthquakes.

How, for example, did they explain light or sunshine? Calling it energy would be meaningless. Perhaps they called it a “no-thing” which has evolved into the word nothing, and is a pretty good definition of what energy or sunshine is. Or, can you imagine an eclipse and our rather clueless ancestors watching as some strange black disk gradually ate up the sun. How do you explain that one?

This process took time beyond our comprehension. For example before we could have Helios driving the Sun in a chariot across the heavens, we had to have gods, chariots, and horses. So, the entire phalanx of what warped into the multitudes of gods and beings originated as metaphors to explain the Laws of Cosmic Physics.

Attempting to explain the existence of the energy we call Will which uses thought to drive energy into form was probably the origin of the concept of a God. The “God” had to be something to which infant humans could relate. They could not get, for example, e=mc2, or even “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” So the Guides and Teachers metaphorized, or created Gods.

These gods had to be recognizable to humans, so they were anthropomorphized and were responsible for all of these various things that humans were wondering about. It seems likely that beside the creations of the various kinds of “gods” who were compatible with the customs and forms of each cultural group, there eventually emerged or was created an anthropomorphic Super God who was the creator of all the lesser gods, and was like the King God or the “God of Gods”. And since we are assured that he created us in his image, he was this giant immortal, of course, Man.

Thus a whole “kingdom” of Super Humans including the big God and all of his lesser, if not human, humanoid gods, who were causing all of this stuff to happen, came into existence they were believed to be real with a fervor which only love or fear can generate. During all of this, the Teaching never wavered; however, like everything else, it did evolve into what we today call the Hierarchy or Fifth Dimension.

Like so many of the metaphors that have been used over the centuries in the effort to teach, to communicate to Humanity the nature of the Real Cosmos, such as the metaphor that appeared as the person whom we know as Jesus, we have fixated on the dense form and tried to duplicate the form rather than the principle that the form was embodying. Consequently we missed, at least the majority of the Teaching, if not the whole point.

It is more than likely that it was these metaphors, originally used to scientifically explain such natural phenomena, that eventually morphed into the pantheon of gods and goddess that bloomed in every culture. However, it is important to recognize that there were other forces involved in the evolution of Humans that were not at all interested in the Plan of the Intendor.

“One group has never freed itself from the principles which governed the first solar system. They were principles entirely related to matter and substance, and were at that time and in that period (so remote that the number of years of distance can be stated only in super-astronomical figures) the conditioning factors for the initiation of the time. Certain units of humanity— then existent—were so completely conditioned by these material principles and so deliberately unready for moving on to the comprehension of another set of principles (more expressive of the divine nature) that they remained of “fixed and selfish material purpose” and a planned distortion of the divine will was intelligently created by them”. The Rays and the Initiations P.350, 1

“The Forces of Darkness are powerful energies, working to preserve that which is ancient and material; hence they are pre-eminently the forces of crystallization, of form preservation, of the attractiveness of matter, and of the lure of that which is existent in the form life of the three worlds. They consequently block deliberately the inflow of that which is new and life-giving; they work to prevent the understanding of that which is of the New Age; they endeavor to preserve that which is familiar and old, to counteract the effects of the oncoming culture and civilization, to bring blindness to the peoples and to feed steadily the existing fires of hate, of separateness, of criticism and of cruelty. These forces, as far as the intelligent peoples of the world are concerned, work insidiously and cloak their effort in fair words, leading even disciples to express hatred of persons and ideologies, fostering the hidden seeds of hatred found in many human beings. They fan to fury the fear and hate of the world in an effort to preserve that which is old and make the unknown appear undesirable, and they hold back the forces of evolution and of progress for their own ends.” Externalization of the Hierarchy P. 75

These Forces also had a hand in creating metaphors of retrogression and evil intent. They generated a whole other pantheon of not that nice guys. We are familiar with seven of them: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth each of which is a very powerful metaphorical entity which manifests in humanity in uncountable ways. Think of Richard the Third, or perhaps Donald Trump.

So What?

The looming specter at the moment is another aspect of applied intelligence known as technology. In the case of actually creating things, technical knowledge is the specific kind of practical knowledge or craft the artist or craftsman uses to manifest a consciously registered formless Intention or Idea into a form. Technology is not some wonder that appeared in the past 25 years. Among the first technologists were a people who mastered the craft/art of flaking silicon based rocks to make an ax. I am sure that there was a veritable industry of flakers, probably located in a silicon rich valley such as the one located in the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area where there are currently tens of thousands of technicians still using silicon chips to make tools.

The New Technology

For many centuries, the intention, the primary motive driving many of these technologists was simply the search for ways and means to solve the daily problems of life, of ways to make things simpler or more efficient. Such things or commodities were traded or bartered for other commodities. It was probably not long after money or “coin” appeared (around 600 BC) that “money” too became a commodity and generated a whole new technology, the technology of how to make and amass money which is actually concretized energy or power.

The Profit Motive

This technology of making money is highly sophisticated. It uses many of the “soft sciences” such as psychology, economics, accounting, and politics to market and monetize the products of other technologies. Then, as is now the case, a great many of the technological advances were almost immediately monetized. That is they were used to generate money for the owners of the raw materials, and the manufacturing resources over and above the investment costs of production. The driving force, behind this and, today, most other technology, think of advertising, is known as the profit motive.

Today, technology is a rapidly unfolding manifestation of the advancement of human’s ability to use Intelligence (which is an omnipresent energy on our planet, and has almost nothing to do with someone’s “I.Q.”) to manifest our desires. However, technology is not-science, just as data processing is not-thinking. Technology is the craft, the tool, used to put the accumulated energy of Intention, once it is registered as Idea into action.

As far as this concerns Humanity, intelligent manifestation of Intention is driven by the Free Will of either the selfish, one dimensional focused, separative personality or the multidimensional inclusive consciousness we call the soul. The path of selfish ignorance will lead inevitably to failure and Chaos. The path of the inclusive consciousness leads to the synthesis of the 4th and 5th Kingdoms which is the point of evolution at this stage.

Since the invention of the steam engine,1698, and the initiation of the industrial revolutions in the 17 hundreds, separative, selfish desire (not how can this technology serve the Common Good, but how can this technology be monetized or make a profit.) has been the primary driver and the user of much of the technology that underpins our present civilizations. Nowhere is this more evident than in the present manifestation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, “characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, and biological spheres”. wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Industrial_Revolution.

The Monetization of Privacy

Here is just one example of hundreds. Obviously, with little or no moral sense, these types of technologies have long used non-dense human emotions and feelings to “market” their products. However, by using a “fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, and biological spheres”, the worldwide corporation known as Facebook has actually created products of the natural human instincts to love, to communicate, to share and be with each other, thus enabling their monetization and marketing.

The fact is that the Facebook Corporation literally mined and stole, under false pretenses, the raw material for their products from the personal, private, thought and feeling lives of human beings. (And as far as I know they are still doing it.) The fact that this is a huge violation of our individual freedom and privacy apparently never even occurred to them and had no effect at all on how they packaged and marketed the “raw material.” Their sole driving motive or intention was to make a profit for the owners of the electronic machinery and technology, the so called hard and software, that produces the end product.

The Science of Approach

“The years 1941 and 1942 will be years of crisis and of tension. Those who perceive the risks, the opportunity, and the important decision to be made are struggling with almost frantic haste to awaken the masses to the uniqueness of this moment. What mankind decides during the next twelve months will condition the future as no other human decision has ever before done in the history of mankind.” Externalization of the Hierarchy P. 175, 6

We must be ever grateful that it was selfless heart driven power of the Science of Approach that enabled our theoretical physicists or Scientists to “download” the formulas and create the technology that enabled us to make the atom bomb first. The fact that this is a fact is really significant.

“The evil forces were closer to success than any of you have ever dreamed. They were so close to success in 1942 that there were four months when the members of the spiritual Hierarchy had made every possible arrangement to withdraw from human contact for an indefinite and unforeseen period of time; the plans for a closer contact with the evolutionary process in the three worlds and the effort to blend and fuse the two divine centers, the Hierarchy and Humanity, into one working, collaborating whole seemed doomed to destruction…. The necessity to withdraw was averted. I may not say in what manner, beyond telling you that the Lords of Liberation took certain unexpected steps. This They were led to do so owing to the invocative powers of humanity, used consciously by all those upon the side of the will-to-good and unconsciously by all men of goodwill.” Externalization of the Hierarchy p. 493, 4

The evolution of human consciousness from the self’s delusion of separative personality identification to the realization of actually being an individual point of the One Consciousness of Humanity or Group Conscious as it is called, has been unfolding for many thousands of years BC. Considering the time it took to get it rolling—from the implant of the spark of mind in the third rootrace in the fourth round of the Lemurian period Treatise on Cosmic Fire p.299 — in the past four hundred years the “expansion” has become an explosion.

In 1940 the population of the world was roughly 2.3 billion. The above data concerning the focus of human consciousness in 1942 is evidence of the level which the evolution of consciousness had reached prior to WWII. Since 1500, world population has gone from 450 million to 7 billion 500 million. The majority of that increase occurred in the last 50 years or so, as the population increased from 4 billion to roughly 8 billion. In the last 18 years the population gained roughly 2.5 billion, over half of that growth.

Group Consciousness

It is unimaginable that a very significant part of that incarnating group of 2,500,000,000 souls do not have the presence of the “scientific and modern mind”. The expansion of consciousness, has, if anything, also “exploded.”

The difference between a tool of peace and a weapon of conquest depends on who is determining how it will be used. I am very aware of the current political/financial situation. I am also aware of the fact that the real struggle concerns who will be in control of how and for what ends the exploding field of electronic technology including atomic bombs and worse, will be put. Depending on how one looks at this, it is as significant as was the race for the formulas of the atomic bomb.

It is quite clear that the defeat of the Dark Lodge in 1942, was not the end of the Dark Lodge. They hardly took a breath before they undermined the United Nations by establishing the right to veto anything they did not like. And since then they have been busy gaining more and more control of planetary wealth. They have regrouped and are operating worldwide through political and financial fields with great power and the same ends, namely “to preserve that which is ancient and material.”

However, as it was demonstrated in the 1942 “footrace” what these forces cannot control, and cannot defeat is the power of Human Will when it is guided by the Human Heart. That Will was enough to invoke the aid that helped avoid the disaster toward which we were heading in 1942. It is certainly adequate to avoid the present challenge that is looming.

A collapse of the systems of one force is caused by the appearance of a greater force. “The effort to blend and fuse the two divine centers, the Hierarchy and Humanity, into one working, collaborating whole” recommenced “when the sun moved northward that year (1942), the great White Lodge knew that the battle had been won.”

The Denouement

Since that time the presence on the planet of a growing number of incarnated souls who have attained a sufficient level of Group Consciousness to provide a receptive field of thought which connects them consciously or unconsciously to the Plan has greatly increased. Consequently the “fusion project” or the Synthesis of the Fourth and Fifth Kingdoms has never wavered. It does now appear as if it is hastening to a denouement of the total victory for the forces of Light.

That this situation is not apparent to those who are form focused is not surprising. As it was said,

“Shield and lance! God has blessed the warriors.
All will come. Twilight will end.
Do you not see that the Cosmic Consciousness is in convulsion?
We know the course of the battle—the Plan of the Creator cannot be altered.
From the Beginning the dark ones struggled.
From the Beginning We conquered.”
